before today's games only 3 won and having watched one of those games live ( Heed ) then watching the highlights of the other two .....all three teams have more than a little fortune. Gateshead mostly out played by a better team on the day but managed to win courtesy of a own goal and a penalty. Barnet won 2-1 but second best according to the reporters and scored the winner against the run of play. Eastbourne won by a dubious penalty when it should have been a draw. Then 5 teams drew Inc Pools and 4 lost. So all in all it turned out to be a very good point considering we played badly but found a way to get something on a bad day. I remember Cloughie once saying if you can’t win and its not your day a good team always finds a way to retrieve something.

It's early days.
But I can confidently say that this is the worst standard division 5 ever.
Which for me keeps the hope alive.

As for the Pools /Gateshead games yesterday.
They were a world apart were 1 team won comfortably playing good entertaining football.

While the other was outrageously spawny as hell to burgle a point.
