Just watched the extended highlights of the Heed v Ebbsfleet game. On that performance they are guaranteed bottom spot this season. They are the worst team I have ever seen at this level. A Sunday league team would probably beat them. I totally get its only one game blah blah but I dont think they have anything to change that crap. Can see them getting beat by double figures this season and remember I told you so. Heed missed a ton of easy chances and still scored 5 by the hour mark then stopped playing. We play them mid September will be interesting. Would love them to prove me wrong and beat Barnet today but it's very very very highly unlikely.

Maybe they don't travel well Leggie- long way for them- at least further than they are used to, to play a decent team in the Heed sctatchinghead

Could well be the case Kettering.Problem for me was within 10 minutes Heed had 4 really good chances so criminal defending even if they had to walk up and play that game. Not one bit of organisation in that team total shambles. I hope I am proven wrong if not they could well go all season without a single win.

It was Gateshead, not Vladivostok by Aeroflot. Did they have seats for the wing mounted beer garden, we should be told.

The Fleet are second bottom after two defeats but have scored twice compared to our one. Whilst our defence appears up to the job we really do need more fire power up front. At the end of last season Gray had formed a good working relationship with Mani D but this season only one goal from a mid fielder suggests our front men are struggling. I sincerely hope that a fit Gary Madine puts pen to paper to give us more options up front.
