Undoubtedly ruining the game of football as a spontaneous sporting spectacle, with VAR making almost as many errors as the on field officials.
Would be much better imo if VAR is to continue if they stopped over-analysing every important phase of play - eg let's check if their was a foul in the build up, then did the ball go out of play, was their a handball, was there an offside not being too far fetched. Even the new semi automatic offside checking seems to take for ever. Why not just follow cricket or tennis and give each team 2 reviews per game otherwise sticking with officials decisions?

Kilmarnock were playing in Europe on Thursday, the ref without being prompted after a challenge in the box decided to consult VAR, similar challenge to Harry Kane one in the Euros, I didn’t think the ref could do that with out prompting from the VAR officials ?
