Well that's the image Snowy tries to portray. But last time I went to see him Mr & Mrs Rat Boy sat on sun loungers being fanned by Snowy. He looked exhausted after just cooking two big stakes lunches with all the trimmings for the happily newly married couple.

Oddly enough I never even thought about it, but on reflection that’s the equivalent of a small Scottish island of shite I must have been posting.

I remember the Workington Massive….a canny lad, like a pie or two ….most of it back in the day was pure comedy….I recall a drunken conversation by a Poolie who collared a lad from Barrow and insisted the lad had stabbed him two seasons ago at Barrow…he kept calling him ‘Jesus’ and the lad did have a resemblance to God’s eldest lad….anway we attempted to ‘mediate’ and asked the pissed Poolie where he was stabbed …..”Barrow” he replied …....”no no no …where on your body” we asked….and immediately dropped his trousers to show us a dubious scar in the groin area…we pointed out it was an appendix scar ….or he stabbed you with a shovel.
He crumbled and walked away, ‘ Jesus’…seemed a canny lad, quickly disappeared…..to a coach , no sign of celestial wings in sight.

Snowy are you having a party to celebrate and receive your award. If so how many can we squash into your garden and when? Can you make sure you have loads of drink & scran for your guests. Oh nearly forgot the prize is a new tin knee which will be fitted at the end of the party by the very professional and World renowned Surgeon Kevin Poole. Can you get the wife to prepare the greenhouse for the operation also needed Stanley knife / large staple gun / 2 x ltr bottles of the best Vodka ( one for operation other for the Surgeon ) dressings etc / and a hammer to crush the cans and shape into a perfect fitting knee. After the operation you will no longer have reasons not to attend games
