He said the referee admitted he made a mistake giving the throw in to the wrong team resulting in Waterfall being booked.

it certainly wasn,t a rant in the refs face like we have seen in the past from opponents. he could not have said much or that bad as he,d been sent off by that ref.

The refs at this level are on par with sunday league dad refs - there is maybe 1 or 2 that are worth their wages. The best ones depart each season for EFL so we always stuck with the whoppers who dont have a clue !

Regardless, Sarll needs to get a grip on Pools' disciplinary record. I get the feeling his reputation goes before him with referees. In 2 games we've had 1 player sent off, 7 other player bookings and 1 for Sarlly himself.

Joe Grey is on 2 yellows already. Joe Grey!

possibly if hard men like julian clary and john inmen were footballers in todays world they,d be picking up cautions now. on the whole in the euro,s there were less cautions thrown around but now its back to the normal english game it seems the only thing on refs minds. hope when the newness of the season wears off we might see a bit more sanity around.
