Were 16/1 on Monday until the Racing Post tipped them up in the pre season newspaper. 14/1 at most other bookmakers currently.

Dieseruvwew 14/1 top scorer, Kabamba favourite a little odd.

Barnet look very strong though and a much bigger squad than ours.

Avoid long term injuries bring in a quality loan keeper bring in two more good players and its a very real possibility in my opinion. Plus I happen to believe we have finally got a proper manager with real tactics who doesn't tolerate fools gladly. If I have got that wrong so be it let's wait and see. UTP Keep the faith trust in D.S.

Sounds like bookies clocked on Fylde will be a decent side this year
Why are solihull not on that list?

Wonder what the bookies forecasts for last year were, to see how it actually turned out.

I'm surprised to see Oldham priced as they are, I think they'll be mid table. Unless it's something to do with them having a large fan base who'll put bets on and they're covering themselves.

I agree what you said about Oldham but think Rochdale are a really good bet @ 16/1

know a couple of their regular fans who are more critical about there recruitment numbers than we are. as for the bookies i doubt they have any more knowledge of this league as fans have. what was the odds for bromley going up last year at this time i wonder and weren,t we one of the favourites a few years back.

you didn,t need to be the font of all non league football knowledge to forecast chesterfield going up last season. funny how they put 4 ex league teams in the top 4 as i,d suspect they have been doing for years even if they are well supported basket cases.

Odds for last season from Jun 23,which I think was prior to Southends point deduction, prior to preseason and prior to most teams finishing their summer transfer business.

5/1 – Chesterfield

8/1 – Hartlepool

9/1 – Rochdale

11/1 – Oldham Athletic

12/1 – Woking

12/1 – Southend United

16/1 – Dagenham & Redbridge

16/1 – Eastleigh

there is always an outsider who creeps into the playoffs - happens every year in this division. Last year you could say it was Halifax or probably going off those odds Alty. Bromley and Solihull always amongst it but given Bromley are gone i think we may see a Gateshead replace them. Either way you cannot look past Barnet as being league winners for me. Rochdale and Oldham respectively should have strong seasons and id imagine at least one of the manchester based clubs to be in the play offs this season !"

Think Project DS will take shape next season and we will win the league under him !

Nicke Kabamba scored a couple more goals than Mani in the NL last season but played a couple more too, so they are about on a par. Paul McCallum at Easleigh was top scorer with 31 goals in 38 games, what odds is he?

Interesting that all the top 10 NL goalscorers apart from Conn-Clark (Altrincham), Tolaj (Aldershot) and Dinanga (Gateshead) were in their late 20s or early 30s, and only the three younger lads have been signed by EFL clubs.
Definitely seems to an age/potential thing, so maybe there hasn't been all that much transfer interest in Mani after all?

he will definatly have a better season than the last injury permitting. not bothered if he does score against us unless he acts like a dick after doing so and then moan about the treatment he gets. thats if also we outscoer his team also.
