Just googled Gateshead fc attendances and they are a fraction of ours yet they out perform us. There must be something seriously wrong with either our finances or recruitment or possibly both for them to be so much ahead of us!

Solihull signed Bostock from Notts County. He will be one of the very best midfielders in our league without a doubt.

Gateshead have made good money through very effective recruitment, we haven't.

Beck has went to Gateshead as they sold their star striker Dingana to Bromley. So they have a gap in their team.

We don't have such a gap as we kept hold of Mani D. Beck wouldn't be playing regularly for Pools whereas he will at Gateshead.

No brainer from the players perspective.

So much for the theory that decent players wouldn't want to sign for Gateshead as there is no guarantee that they would be promoted to the EFL do to the ongoing issues with their 'Theatre of Dreams' .

Our players chucked the towel in at 3-1.

They had something to play for we didn't.
Better team, better coached.
Our players were tired after the long journey.
History now, let's hope there's no repeats this season.

true and there is never an excuse for that even when they know the chips and everything else on the day are down and against them. mind you quicker that result is put into history the better and is no worse than torquay and the everton kids tonking us at the vic in living memory.
