Let's say it is genuine, which I don't think it is.

Mani D played last night, played well, ran more than I've ever seen him run and clearly enjoyed playing and scoring. He had plenty of chances and could have got a hatrick.

If bids were in and they were considered serious bids, either Mani D or the club would have refused to play him.

Therefore total nonsense rumour or the bid were immediately rejected and of no interest to Mani D or the club.
