That when you clean up they can always do it better. I'm not been sexist to the little women, bless their pretty little knickers but it's true, women have a 'proper cleaning' gene that we don't posess.

you are having a laugh, based on the two women in this house. Daughter has followed mother's lead, so I have to do twice as much tidying up!!!

I've never hoovered our house, and I have no idea where she keeps the bathroom cleaner stuff or that sprayee stuff that she uses on the furniture.

It must have happened a dozen times. She goes a way for the weekend, you spend half your time in pub and the rest in bed, you eat out or eat takeaways so you never use the kitchen, you're very careful to leave everything exactly where you found it, you even remove all her hairs that are stuck in the hairbrush, and before she's due home you have a quick wipe around and even do a bit of hoovering.

Then the dreaded moment arrives, as does she, saying "LOOK AT THE STATE OF THIS HOUSE. I GO AWAY TWO DAYS AND THE PLACE IS A PIGSTY!"

Moral of the story: leave a pigsty for her. It saves work. rolfl
