I see the Football Governance Bill was one of the pieces of legislature dropped due to the Election Announcement

Football Governance Bill

Following the collapse of Bury Football Club and a doomed bid to set up a European Super League, the government a set up a review, external of the governance of the game.
One of the key recommendations was to establish an independent regulator who would have the power to sanction clubs who break financial rules.
This bill would have set up the new regulator, but has now been dropped.
