Pulls up with just Ratboy early doors and could hear a constant beat in the background, walked on and there this lass sat cross legged on the grass beating a constant beat on a shallow drum ……the same constant monotonous beat, no change….like she was in a trance.
Thought it a bit odd so took a photo on my phone because the wife always wants proof….then this woman passes me and said it was a drum group, I said it sounds like Apaches having a war dance….she floundered away then I noticed she too had the same drum on her back…l
That was it, in the car and up to the Gare, where skylarks and sanity reign.

My idea of fun is not sitting down at daft O’clock in the morning on wet grass at Seatonyy beating a drum in a repetetive muted tone every second.

might be an idea to swerve seaton just to avoid older blokes on scateboards and drummer girls if these new age excentrics get up your nose. could turn the dogs minds.

Had the full cabaret this morning, the dippers communal exercise session where 55 year old teenagers of both sexes giggle then eventually rush into the embrace of the North Sea, the boarder was back doing sweeping zip zags along the prom but unfortunately never fell off….the Apache drum duo never turned out but we were more than compensated for by some fuckwit with a delightful Kamikaze drone flying along a six foot above the promenade…..I was waiting for it to land as the dogs were up for it.
There’s rumours of transgender porridge juggling when it gets warmer. :angry-tappingfoot:

get the area on the map and improve pools chances of signing players by organising a miss seaton 2024 for trannies and crossdressers with a car show for electric vehicles on top. a non farmers market can then be arranged selling vegan products and clothes died in wode from sustainable sources. all vehicles must be banned but cyclists get a free entry pass plus a tenner presented by jeremy vine on production of their cycling lock key.

Should be here, it’s the Water Festival Songkran, foreign mid fifties men standing outside of bars firing high powered water pistols at passing strangers and throwing ice cold buckets of water over people and people on scooters.

Sounds like " The childish festival" would be more apt.

Blokes in their 50’s, sounds a bit sad to me, looking for a Thai bride or husband?

each to their own i suppose as you could say the same for people like me who dress in original 40,s gear for events from that period in the summer. do not do miletary re enactments but cannot have enough of the music and other events from that period.

I don’t know but I tried to see if it had Iranian markings and been blown of course only to hit Seaton’s very own ‘Iron Dome’.
