Read on anutha forum.
That it's getting scrapped for Efl clubs from next s
eason due to a new TV deal from sky.
Wonder if it affects the non league scene.
Super fans will love this.

we are fine as its an EFL deal only. fans can still stream their clubs games at the usual times but at an extra cost again if its done on a match to match basis without a sky subscription. too true its killing football as fans will have to suffer the once unheard of KO times like 12.15 and 5.30 and the extra revenue clubs make out of it will not be passed down to fans with lower gate costs or reduced season ticket prices. clubs will also still be up shit street with their finances no matter how much money they,ll receive.

They won’t be happy till there’s just four teams in a ‘Super Duper Premiership’ consisting ‘London City’….’ Up North United’…….’ Midlands Pretenders’ ….and …..’The Rest’.
Then they’ll meet each other 16 times over the season and if they can persuade the Jocks to join, ‘The Rest’ will be instantly relegated to oblivion.
The future.

The Lower end of the Football pyramid is actually run better than the top end were 99% of the time it's local fans supporting their local teams.
Unlike these worldwide n English plastic all over the country knobs/cranks supporting Man Utd Liverpool Newcastle etc.
You'd be surprised how many of these lot exist in hpool workplaces.

there have always been fans who support out of town clubs but not to the same number as there is now even when its more costly and inconveniant to do this. its not as if they have supported that club for life but more of a success bandwagon jumpers where they,ll change there current club for another depending on league positions. you,ll find them in hartlepool for sure but not for clubs like palace, brentford or west ham types of clubs. even where i live in a rugby league town you,ll bump into a wigan, st.helens or leeds one easily as a supporter of the towns side because they play in a lower league with zero publicity.
