…after the Galloway roadshow could Corbyn be waiting in the wings to manage a convenient coup and oust Starmer after the election…. He’s been too quiet for too long.
You never know.

knives will be out for starmer unless he gains a good working majority. its just the thought of a choice between him and rishy washy to vote for that leaves me cold. There is a really good chance of neither not being around in 12 months time along with other leaders of the small or devolved parties as well. politics is like football management when patiance goes out of the window quickly for any failures.

No chance Corbyn is old school like Galloway, he is not a member of the Labour Party, they could team up together in opposition that would really split the vote with Reform on the scene as well. Starmers not my cup of tea but who else is there, Andy Burnham, he has a cushy job as the Mayor of Manchester and he wouldn't give that up. According to the most recent poll the Tories would only have 25 MPs sitting in the HOP.

It's worth taking note that Diane Abbott was delighted that Galloway won a seat.

Some say Starmer’s the acceptable face of Labour, but the Tory’s did it to Boris.
Come on Jamie, Burnham with his Thunderbird puppet highbrows has found his level..as the ‘Viceroy of Manchester’ he soon legged it when Corbyn won…getting well clear of the fall out that eventually happened, never stayed to fight.

It could become interesting in the G.E. a Corbyn and Galloway Party, Reform and maybe even a break away party Truss and co the Popcrn party from the Tories. Voters are always looking for alternatives, remember H’Angus.

But H’Angus won , and won again.
I know what you mean though, but Galloway and Corbyn would be a dream ticket only if the voter wasn’t a full shilling.

Stranger things have happened, people are p***** with all the main parties, protest vote, the only good thing is they would nationalise all the utility companies.

Watched a video which was analysing what percentage of votes each party and how many seats they will get, Reform will get 20% but no seats due the voting system.

I never believed in proportional representation for the simple reason each party has a list of candidates and bang goes your local MP…plus people who could never become an MP normally because no one would ever vote for them can become one.

The "inthing" in the last few days appears to be Tactical Voting. From this it is expected the Cons will only end up with 24 seats - oh dear!

The Tory’s drilled holes in the bottom of their boat and wonder why it’s sinking….Starmer’s no stand out leader and his front bench reflect that, just the last lifeboat afloat…the Lib Dem’s have become a caricature of a Party infested by the sort of people who act like self flagellating, left wing do gooders with the no grasp on reality…Our future is piss poor no matter who gets in..,a country where 95% of the electorate are ignored by government, media and big business and the generously pander to the remaining 5% of odd balls …funny old world.

What a loathsome pair.

at least they have an opinion on subjects even if you do not agree with them. sick of this middle of the road nonsence where you have to be told which party many of them actually support.

Trouble is the further you get from the middle, the more dangerous it becomes….middle of the road combined with basic common sense and listening to the majority in stead of cuddling up to the minority woke nonsense would fix it.

Couldn’t have put it better Snowy, we are f***** no matter who wins the election, a country led by university woke politicians who have never done a hard days work in their life.

the main question is where does woke sit. middle, left or right in politics now. for me its right bang in the centre as most politicians of all sides seem to follow it.

I can see Houchen getting back in as Teesside Mayor if the general election is on the same day 2nd May due to a higher turnout but he may be in trouble if the GE is later. Labour voters will target him with the "cant be arsed" brigade staying at home.

I always think of Woke as the illegitimate offspring of The Magic Roundabout school of politics and position it halfway between La la land and the Isle of Loon.
Thing is, the system listens to them and protects and encourages this nonsense.
