Due to injury his last competetive game prior to signing for Spennymoor last month was in our playoff final.
Yesterday he saved two penalties in the 2-1 win at Boston.
Since he joined them Spenny have not lost a game.

Didnt spenny recently go out and sign quite a few players, seems to have turned them around a bit. Darlo looked dead in the water last week have gone and win 3 on the bounce.

Ndjoli, Dolan, James, Fletcher, all played for us & Lee knows them well enough.

Does that not in part sum up the standard of our signings that 4 of them play for a national north team now.

None signed by Philips or the current recruitment team so it's an indictment of our history not a guarantee of any future.

as bad as we have it--the leagues below the conference look like serious dog shit the standard of players you see going there and being perceived as a signing 'coup', though we have managed to get knocked out of both cups to teams from that league !

Its about being delighted for a young man who soon after saving a penalty for us at Ashton Gate broke his ankle and never played another competetive game until this year.
