Very worried for Blyth here. The new owner has had many companies which have never filed accounts and then been dissolved, claims they were simply never used. His quoted company Winners Worldwide (the name already a red flag for me) only had its website set up a week ago and had its HQ registered at Blyths stadium. His own personal website is full of business jargon and claims he works with Qatari companies as well as being a property specialist with no proof to back it up…

Think Blyth are going to hit a very rocky road.
Loads of people on twitter been looking into that guy and NOT liking what they have found.
Sounds like a Coxall to me after reading the twitter feeds.

Sounds very Coxhall-esqe to me.

The business is a worthless shell company which was only formed a year ago.
This is the nerve centre of ‘worldwide’ in a rough arsed area of Newcastle.

His previous companies (non filed accounts) are numerous but my favourite is “Million Dollar Listings”

Bank account shows about £500 - that's going to go far - makes the BS in Blyth Spartans sound more like Bull Shit.

Reading that ‘mission statement’ told me all I needed to know… a syrupy concoction.

just the words mission statement gets me worried. more 21st century bullshit. i,d go a step further by saying new ownership for any club now is the most frightening thing that can happen to any of them.

Most annoying thing is the league authorities allow the clubs to be misused by criminals. Here are just a few examples of skulduggery Pools Notts County Bury Bolton Macclesfield Torquay Scunthorpe Southend and Rochdale. All these clubs have experienced the (Conman ) new owner allowed to take over after so called financial checks. Makes me wonder if the plan is to let as many lower league clubs as possible fail and go bust thereby reducing the pyramid down to two leagues. Maybe another part of the plan is to get rid of small clubs build 100,000 stadiums and hope to get the small club supporters on board to fill them. Follow the money ... banghead

That's how I feel about the FA, Premiershit and EFL. They don't want Grassroot football, they just want Spanish, French, German and foreign players, with fancy names, not Smith, Barker, Baker, Jones, Williams, Dalton etc etc.

Like the Manchester Area you said.
Oldham
Rochdale
Bury fcuked with no help from City n United.
Salford probably end up the same way.

I didn't hear much about the Neville brothers doing much to help out their home town Bury.

Thankfully today's Hartlepudlians will support Pools forever unlike them who became plastic geordies when Keegan was a player n manager at Newcastle.

See we're Football is in 15 years time. Pools in Championship.

The sad thing is, no one cared about Bury, Macclesfield, Altrincham or even Stockport (with their history) when everything hit the fan. All the rich billionaires/Millionaire Living in Manchester and all stood bye watching, while City United and Bolton get millions of the FA and Sky for T.V rights. The FA are the biggest Conmen and cocks going. Money not shared equal across the divisions and financial fair play tightened on lower leagues whilst the top get away with cooking the books, (apart from Everton) also these top clubs run at millions of pounds worth of lost and in the red every year.

When the Teesside Development Corporation built the Riverside for the Borers, there was a discussion programme on Tyne Tees I recall, where it was proposed to make full use of the stadium a Cleveland Councillor proposed Pools could use the stadium too.
Listening to people who know bugger all about football making the case till Sir John Hall stepped in and said they had no chance because football supporters are tribal and wouldn’t accept such an idea…it may appeal to politicians and bean counters but you can forget it as you’d be turning up at a ground that blatantly wasn’t your ground, you’d be tenants.

the annoying thing is that the fa actually class grass roots football as the non league pyramid and not parks football played by blokes and kids every single saturday. think we all know what their reaction would be if one of their glorified womens teams went bust.

when you read a report such as club X owes a certain number of millions, those millions are equal to some squad player signed by a premier league club from somewhere abroad who only plays in the odd cup game. i,d rather walk round the shops on a saturday than support clubs like that.

It would be interesting to know if when Gateshead failed to get re-elected back in the day if Newcastle voted for them or not?

Blythe, population 40,000 max is unlikely to be able to support an EFL club which makes me suspect it's a load of flannel by a con man.

Population is irrelevant, Forest Green managed it with a population of 5,000…. It’s all about the money the owner has…and I suspect this bloke is not in that league…and that’s me being diplomatic.

exactly. in this day and age clubs do not need fans if their owner has enough money to throw away at their hobby or use the losses for another purpose. pity as the game was better when those who got success was more about the number of fans they got inside the ground. if todays world had existed a little over 100 years ago when 4 divisions were created it would be interesting who the winners and losers would have been.

Let’s be honest even forty years ago the clubs usually relied on gates and player sales to survive unless the Chairman and board were financially comfortable…even the Chairman and board of the top clubs were never that wealthy in relation to these days.
Let’s not ignore the elephant in the room, the media who took away the FA Cup Final kick off at 3 O’clock to humour the arse based living room ‘fans’.

yes, football has become more of a reality tv programme now than just going to the match as it once was. even the magic of wembley has gone to some extent apart from us being one of the few clubs never to have played there.
