That is definitely Ndjoli, he will probably train with pools on the days spenny aren't. I'd imagine we are covering most his wage.

Nowt like jumping to conclusions is there? KP is the messiah after 2 games and Khan is a sick note

Never said KP was the Messiah: if you can find any post when I have said this, please cut and paste below. He has obviously made a very big difference to Pools though it is still early days. Never said Khan was a sick note. I did express concern that he has an injury after having played less than 90 minutes especially as he has had injury problems in the past. I would appreciate you not misrepresenting my posts.

Ok, you only ‘wonder’ if Khan is going to be a sick note (a.k.a. “One of those who spends as much time on the treatment table as he does on the pitch.”) After being with the club for 2 weeks…

ots quite possible though he is not the only one thinking the same about him and other new signings that have come in with pools past record. everything looked too good to be true at the outset.

again i know we dont have the ability to probably run a player through some form of fitness test like a prem club does prior to signing. But surely we must know and be told by the parent club about injuries or potential that hes not fully fit etc...

We knock on doors for available players, it is what it is at our level. We get offered rubbish by scouts and agents (as told by that interview Darren Kelly). But even still we have to know wether or not the lads we get can even get a game out of them ?

I think it might have just been an unfortunate knock - the lad was on the bench and playing wasnt he for Grimsby just before he came here?

might of been a little too soon for him starting a game and playing the minutes he did ?

Yep, thats what I said but the "sick note " quip is your deliberate distortion of what I said I presume so you can score a point of some kind.
Still waiting for you to quote me saying that KP was "the Messiah". Maybe you can find something positive I said about hime and then interpret it in your very own confused, spiteful way. In the politest possible way f*** off.

He’s started 5 games for Grimsby this season and has been substituted all 5 times. He’s come off the bench 8 times and has been an unused sub 11 times.

Last time he’s completed a full 90 mins for Grimsby was April 2023, but he did play 2 full 90-minutes for Pakistan in November 2023.

Could be just a temporary reaction to increased workload, or could be something more serious.

ahh good information thanks for that !

looks again the same story with Dickenson - 45 minute man. Seems we are recruiting the right player just shy of full fitness with some.

Doesnt matter if we get 45 out of each, each half they are better than what we had anyways !

hoping Kahn just maybe has a niggle as id like to see more of him.

You cast aspersions on a player who hasn’t been with the club 5 minutes for what reason only you know. I find that objectionable, so you know what you can do with your feigned indignation at being called out.

"called out"? WTF? Who made you arbiter of the truth? Have you read McTees's post about Otis Khan? Just to be helpful I have pasted it below:

"He’s started 5 games for Grimsby this season and has been substituted all 5 times. He’s come off the bench 8 times and has been an unused sub 11 times.

Last time he’s completed a full 90 mins for Grimsby was April 2023, but he did play 2 full 90-minutes for Pakistan in November 2023.

Could be just a temporary reaction to increased workload, or could be something more serious"

Does this help you understand my concerns about this player's injury record? Prior to this and just as he was signed someone else posted to say that Grimsby fans had said he was a good player but had injury issues. He played one game for Pools and goes off injured. Why do I need to be "called out" because I expressed misgivings? By the way, still waiting for you to post a copy of where I said KP was "the Messiah".

It’s possible to google ‘Otis Khan injuries’ y’know. He missed the start of this season at Grimsby with a calf injury but was featuring in games by mid-September and has been in and out of the first team squad since with no prolonged absences - apart from a bit of international duty. Yes, he’ll not have been fully match fit when he joined up (same as the other loanees) but Pools will have factored that in when they made the decision to sign him - unless you think the footballing staff didn’t do their due diligence?

Ignore him Ozzy he reminds me of a mosquito also buzzing about trying to wind people up. He is a very very sad and lonely individual who only has the bunker his wife and his son in his life and they both hate him. He used to think he had loads of mates but truth be known nobody liked him we all only tolerated him. He is like the little boy ( little being the operrative word ) who never grow up despite now being in his sixties.

Dickenson was miles off it last night and also dont think he can handle 2 games so quick. Tbh i dont think hes even ready to handle 60 mins.

Shame as he was an awesome player aswell and just what we needed - Reminded me of Mols in patches when id seen him play and even once or twice last night

Behave yourselves.
Debate in an orderly manner.

Not a fan off this
If they were good or not injury prone then they wudent be at Pools.
I'm sure smaller clubs above us in the football pyramid and there's plenty don't operate on this idiology sctatchinghead eh!
Anyhow I think it's a new era we're KP won't gamble or sign any player just to get the squad numbers up.
Significant progress being made lately and long may it continue back into the Efl ASAP.

Nah I'm just not interested in worshipping the guy who got us into this shit. He will get my respect when it is due. He's got a lot to put right. Still, even the longest journey starts with the first step.

No one talking about worshipping, its about being pragmatic. Also, no point in going through life with a massive cob on about something you cant do owt about.

Ah yes pragmatism. You cant get any less pragmatic than blowing smoke up someone's arse for no reason.

"He will get my respect when it is due. He's got a lot to put right" = pragmatic and also entirely true.

Goin up then comeing down superfast.
Then a tad of ambition to get back to the lowest EFL division certainly ain't Worship material.
Makeing a conserved effort to get to league one and becoming established there how we used to be is worthy like.
All our ambitions are different like but the older generation can rewind that the mantra was to now n again get out of division 4 via the top end.

Probably get the re election history quotes now
Opinions n Ambition.
That's the Bunker.
