Just watched the highlights from the Boreham game and have some observation.

1.Cooke's pass to Gray for our equalizer was quality. Dont think anyone else at the club has the vision to play a pass like that. I know Cooke has his critics but there is no doubting his ability.
2. I still can't fathom why the ref didnt give a penalty for the blatant handball. Was he watching a different game or did his contact lenses mist up?
3. Manny D's goal was similar to the one Crawford was denied against Woking last week but this time the ref noticed it had crossed the line.
4. Waterfall finished like a striker for our third.

Both CBs will be disappointed at their goal, both CBs involved in our 3rd goal.
Dickenson looked a good addition to the side, should get better with games as his fitness improves.
Ref was abysmal throughout, brilliant 1 handed save in the box by their....defender, missed by ref and lino. Seemed intent on doling out
yellows against us but not the other way.
A good all round team performance, can we follow it up with another on Tuesday?

Agree about their goal but didnt want to point finger of blame. Those two have prevented many a goal so I dont mind cutting them some slack especially as we won the game.

Refs give bad decisions against Pools far too often. We’ve had one penalty all season!

The only difference between one ref not seeing the ball was well over the goal line last week and another missing a blatant hand ball yesterday is one cost us 2 points and the other didn’t.

We got a pen at Barnet and one against York.

So in 34 league games we have had two penalties and zero in our cup appearances.

Yes we have only had two. Possibly could have had 22 but Refs don't appear to agree with me.

That ref on Saturday was way out of his depth, can't understand why linos don't seem to help them in any way whatsoever either.

One stat we need to improve on is converting Corners into goals or at least test the keepers out a bit more.

Not just Pools but what's this shit about were there's no attackers between the penalty spot n opposite corner flag/touchline. sctatchinghead
It doesn't work. :angry-tappingfoot:

Dickenson shouldnt be playing at this level - god knows whats happened to his career but he was meant to be the next best thing in L1 and most tipped him for bigger things even then. Still young enough to turn his career around and possibly get a shot at L1 again should he stay injury free. Glad we are getting these types of players again. We just need them on our books now and build a solid 11

My mistake - forgot that Umerah scored from the rebound against Barnet after missing the penalty

Actually Umerah scored the rebound after Hastie missed the pen. Hastie got the pen awarded so I guess he decided he was going to take it.
