The way they are edited makes the 1st half look much more even than it was - Fylde hit the woodwork twice and neither effort is shown. Ferguson horribly exposed for both goals - Pools look like a kids team at times the way they all bunch up on one side of the pitch and nobody is looking out for the crossfield ball.

Pools were genuinely on top 2nd half - Hastie's curler is a peach of a goal.

I watched the highlights yesterday and was wondering the same thing Hogan so thanks for the input. I am in general agreement about your insights in regards other matches I have seen. But like you will be watching tomorrow and praying for some sort of direction and improvement. I won’t get carried away though

In those odd moments you wonder what is it that’s wrong on the field of ply, I'm drawn to the whimsical idea that we have a tactical master plan give down by God after receiving multiple prayers form distraught Poolies.
That master plan given by God guaranteed success from the Almighty, but everything stayed the same…..a distraught Poolie bombards God with requests as to why the master plan which was given as compensation shortly after Cheeky Challinor departed, is still not working, “Please God, when will it work?”
God sighs and says…….”Success is like building a house, I’m the architect who supplies the plan…… YOU supply the Labour, get on with it, I’ve done my job”.
