I noticed the winner of Sports Personality of the Year was referred to as the ‘England Goalkeeper’…surely the ‘England Woman’s Goalkeeper’… sctatchinghead
All part of the re-programming of our thought process .

Caught Wigan v Man U FA Cup game on ITV. No women commentating or punditry. Wondering if Joey Barton's campaign is starting to bear fruit.

The 2 doing the draw were both introduced as FA Cup winners, Gary Mabbut yes but the lass had won the Women's FA Cup so f*ck all to do with winning THE FA Cup.
Then the presenter said a great away day for Maidstone at Ipswich, hardly going to be a sell out I'd imagine, plus its an awful place to get to. She was shocking.

about time they get back to basics and say what it is. men only play in the fa cup and women in the womens version. whats wrong in just stating this fact. get sick of seeing a headline like chelsea has signed a player only to find its the womens team they are on about. all they are doing is giving more power to bartons elbow and putting fans off from the womens game who might be prepared to give it a go. mind you maidstone trailing to suffolk isn,t all that bad it could have been somewhere like hull or preston if they are still in it.

There doesn’t seem to have been much women’s football shovelled into our living rooms lately - are they taking a Christmas/Winter break?

I bet both chairmen are wishing it was at Old Trafford. The best scenario would be a draw and then a trip to Old Trafford. Good luck to whoever wins the match deciding who gets the golden ticket.
Wish it was us.

They would get 5000 no matter who they played in round 4 so probs wished it was at old trafford, will make a bit out of the tv though.

cannot see the public of blackburn getting excited about a home draw with league 2 wrexham even with their publicity machine behind that club. the away end might sell out but the rest of their ground will not if they charge the normal ticket prices and not bribe fans to attend with real low ones.
