I could be wrong on this but, Some time after the oldham game away did Sweens do an interview
Where he said "we have make do with what we have" player wise, or words to that effect.

And then 1 signs and another on loan.

I think 5 players have gone back to their clubs though, so obviously things have changed a bit and no doubt a bit of panic is setting in. Get relegated again and the value of the club be peanuts. Stay in this league and its probobly worth something.

And Sylla, Theres 2 sides to every story. Unless you write history.

when he played before the incident he always put a shift in. we have not replaced him as of now. we do not know either side of the story and its all guess work. however seeing it was a period of religeous fasting for him i could understand him not wanting to play in an away game at that time. going back years to the mid 50,s portsmouth had a player ray gunter who refused to play on a certain christian festival for he,s deep convictions and no clubs at that time could insist on a player playing on that date.

I,d have Monkhouse playing never mind managing, Heart like a lion that lad.

Absolutely! Criminal we pushed him out at the time. Which long gone clueless manager was it ? Scott I think. Don't think Andy's at Taddy anymore.

Id already known about the unrest in the dressing room before the chesterfield game in which Mancini went off would you believe. Some of the players didnt like JA the minute he came in. Again heard this from a reliable source whos around the lads at the training ground.
Matty just backed up what me and others already knew

A manager has a team top of the league, playing great football & scoring goals for fun,but the players don't like him.
Pity about them.

Trouble is, it’s easier to get rid of a manager than a team…..maybe him signing ex players was a sign of that, you never know.
