Mancini terrorized the Oxford defence. What a player. Is he even better now than before his injury?

he might have done so but he does not always use the best options available to him. its something at the moment we will have to go with as he makes the side and if he manages to do everything right on the pitch he,ll never be seen in a pools shirt again.

If we can hold on to him till the end of the season and he stays clear of injury, we'll be safe from relegation. Worth saying that the Oxford defence didnt try to kick him out of the game. Fylde will be watching the video and no doubt will have special plans for him. Lets hope the ref gives him some protection.

Lawerence said that Mancini has a habit of giving the ball away at times, he appears to have a great sense of balance upper and body strength like Maradona had, very difficult to unbalance him when he is on the ball.

At least Mancini and Grey will try and beat someone and go on a run - better than this endless across the field pass and back and so on.

If they move to a higher level that will soon be ‘coached’ out of them.

We've lacked someone who has pace and the ability to take a man on since Chesterfield, Hastie does it occassionally but Saturday showed for me he is best used as an impact sub.
I'll be surprised if Mancini gets through the rest of the season without getting a good kicking, fair play to Oxford that they didnt resort to thuggery to dull his impact.

Only because they couldn’t catch him, once Mancini goes on a run he is very difficult to knock off the ball.

Grey needs to shoot more - confidence in his ability. Needs to maybe take a leaf out of Mancini book aswell.

but yeh its lovely to see a player gliding through the opposition and making chances as Mancini does. Hes literally far too good for this level and come the end of the season he will no doubt have an option on the table from L1 id say at least.

You need players of higher calibre in your team if you want to get out of this league as the quality is there in the top half of the table.

hopefully we also have the rumoured 2 new lads in to play come tomorrow aswell.

also this Izuzu mickey mouse cup is such a distraction at the minute - their isnt enough cash in it for a club like us to really be bothered by it if im honest. We are on the bare bones of our ass squad wise and simply cant afford any more injuries. Im hoping we can grab some of the kids and play them.

Gray does need to believe in himself more, Thought he put in a really good shift.
Thought Fergie looked a lot happier with a more simple role.

Mancini is the type you say to go out and do what you do best
Don,t worry about tracking back, And do NOT get involed in 50/50s
