The Beatles or the Stones!!

It's a question as old as time :angry-cussingargument:

but it's the Beatles for me.

I like their early simple pop songs because they're simple and poppy - conversely I like their later clever melodic stuff because it's clever and melodic.

With the Stones however I simply can't get past Mick Jagger. To me he is awful, he can't sing, he can't dance and he looks ridiculous.

Both, depending on mood. The Stones rock, the Beatles are a lot more melodic.

One was a sing along, one was turn the volume up.

Beatles for me

A fact I found out over Christmas was that the singing duo Peters & Lee, Lennie Peters was the uncle of Charlie Watts. Dianne Lee later married Rick Price from Wizard and continued to tour with him until his death in May 2022.

same for me, never knew what the fuss about the beatles was about. typified the so called swinging 60,s that never seemed to swing when i lived near halifax at the time. just the 50,s in colour.
