more than most of our players you never know which cooke will turn up from one game to the next. there is no half measures with him being very good or the opposite.

We need someone in midfield who is mobile to do the tackling, ball-winning, and get about the pitch to give Cooke time on the ball. He's better when Wallace and / or Crawford are in the team.

Cooke yesterday was abysmal, How he was allowed to continue the full game tells us all about the coaching.

Cooke is very inconsistent, a moody type of player, only plays when he feels like it.

possibly because we can only make 3 subs and there is always a chance he might do something spectacular which never looked likely to happen yesterday.

He has trouble recieving and controling a pass. Does not challenge or track back anywhere near enough.
