I'm disappointed with the some defenders. However, we controlled the game, we created chances. sctatchinghead

I wasn't actually watching, I was watching my shoelaces, I asked Sweeney if I had them tied, took me 90 minutes to work it out....

These tedious interviews are just one of a million reasons why football is being ruined.

If there was ever a perfect time for Brian Clough's reincarnation, then surely it is now..?

We been working on our defensive shape then Mattock gets injured in the dressing room 2 minutes before kick off. Any other team would take it in their stride but the players dont do what I tell them. You have to look for the positives and at least we didnt concede five. Another positive is that there is at least one team in the National League who have conceded more goals than us. Manni D's injury looks catastrophic. We'll have to wait for the swelling to go down but it looks likely he wont play again till this time next year. But yeah, its a point gained and we go into the Oldham game full of confidence even though we haven't won at home for months.

None of this ever mattered to me back in the day when I might've scored in Caspers or Foxys afterwards.

Defensive shapes and injuries are for poofs...!!!

Real men were far too busy shagging someone from Blackhall in the back of Billy Horner's Datsun...!

;)

Never seen such a blatant display of poofery as Pools 3-0 down to a pub team

The biggest takeaway from the interview is mani D likely to be out a while who is our best player, we are looking like we could genuinely be getting sucked into the nation

Pools lost 2 of their best players, Dodds and Mancini, the rot set in after both were injured, and after that we had one injury after another and Mani could be out long term.
Joe White who Pools had on loan till he was injured has signed on loan to Stockport.

He is running out of words for his post match interviews. What more can he say if stays the same or gets worse.... I'm stumped if I know.

Maybe best if he doesn't waste his breath.....

“ I think I can see the problem……. we appear to be not very good and this could be the reason we’re not making the progress I anticipated.
So in future I intend to start training in person for a change and not showing them Saint and Greavsie video’s on the Betamax training aid while I pontificate in my office.
I’m convinced the fans are behind me, but I’ve worked out if I really put my foot down I should be able to shake them off on the A19…..eventually!”

Is it me or does that interview read as, something else is coming later on or it's a "we can't be arsed interview, the fans know how crap we are."
Am I overthinking it, but to me it does feel like a Club Statement is on the way:?:

Completely agree with you ZNB12. Was it even JA who made the substitutions today?

The Post Match interviews are normally recorded on video and also include one with a player ?

If it’s coming I’d expect it today.

My point was pre match and post match interviews are normally a video, were the Pools coaching staff too embarrassed to do a live video instead of a statement ?
