The Premier League has agreed a new record £6.7bn domestic television deal for Sky and TNT to show up to 270 live games a season.

The top flight said the deal, which covers the four years from the 2025-26 season, is the "largest sports media rights deal ever concluded in the UK".

The Saturday 3pm blackout will remain in place, but every 2pm Sunday kick-off will be televised.

That’s the Sky and whoever pays for the right’s monthly subscription fees going up, I would never ever subscribe to the greedy b****** billionaires, ruined football for the smaller clubs.

100% agree I call it the Greed is Good league ruined grass roots football and small clubs who used to pick up the released 16 -18 year olds but unachievable now when clubs are paying these young kids anything from 2k -10 per week then release them to be picked up by smaller local clubs, just does not happen anymore

and there are less and less willing to finish off their careers at lower league clubs by going abroad to get even more money in lower standard football there.
