is sweet another word for Bender in Hartlepool ive heard the term used before thats all confised

I was asked to DJ at a night in Sunderland recently but coudnt as I was in Liverpool on a training course. It included live music from field music, maximo park members etc, all doing cover versions. I've never ever DJ'd before but if I could have done it, Sweet Gene Vincent would have been my last song of the night. One for the smoochers and the rock n rollers. Great song !
