Team for tommorow, who do you think Wilson will pick and what does the Hartlepool Mail say...

Not sure about what Wilson will pick but the team I would like to see is...

Lee Barrett (just to give him a Carling Cup game to prove himself like Butdz got the chance)

McCunnie
Clark
Nelson
Humphreys

Brown
Liddle
Sweeney
Monkhouse

Porter
Foley

I have included Sweeney, Lee-B, Porter, Clark and Foley because they have been left out recently and would be curious to see how well they do when given a chance. I still think it's a good line-up.

I think we shoul play our strongest available line up and not be complacent. It is up to those on the fringes to win their places either through other players performing badly or by doing well when they get the oppertunity. I know that there are doubts over a few players but it is the second round of the league cup and we should be taking the tie seriously........

I wouldn't put Foley from the beginning anyway, they'll kick the living shit out of him to neutralise him.

Barrett

McCunnie
Nelson
Clark
Humphries

Brown
Liddle
Sweeney
Robson

Moore
Porter

Bench: Budzt, Foley, Elliott, Monkhouse, Antwi

Mainly 'cos Bolands got stiches in his head and Barker had to go off with concussion on Saturday.

The reserves should be more than good enough to beat those bums so why risk the first team?

Sorry but I simply couldn't find another left back on the books anywhere, not even in the yoofs. If you know of one then scratch Matty and put him in.

I was assuming you were putting him in there as 3rd choice left back, and as such you could classify Matty as a 'reserve'. :sweeeet:

R head. I presume that you are taking the piss with your team selection. We are playing a championship team that will be desperate for a result to kick start their season.
Shef wed should be made to beat pools first team. A victory tonight could be worth about 150k to pools, it is a big game for us and a cup run would be great. Suggesting that players should be rested is embarrassing.
