anyone else thought it was a nailed on penalty when featherstone got fouled a split second before he blasted the ball wide. i certainly did.

Their player cleaned Featherstone out. In the Prem with VAR it would have been a penalty all day, but different rules apply - especially for away sides - in the NL.

It's not a throwback to the good all days, just rank bad refereeing.

Besides that though Mani D, Crawford, Hastie should probably all have scored 2 each.

Some praise for Cooke as well , he was pinging balls all over the place and cajoling players off the ball….he made a difference.

anyone there who can tell us how far hastie,s second half efforts were away from the post. it was hard to tell watching at home with the angle we had. mani d might have been better heading it rather than waiting a split second longer to have a shot. as for crawford its not the first time he has not hit the target with similar headed chances though.

even their dodgy commentator thought they,d possibly got away with one there.

This may be contoversial but what about giving Manni D a rest on Sat and play Josh as CF? Manni D on the bench so could always swap over if it isnt working. If it goes OK Manni D gets a well earned Saturday off. Mani D has played every game since coming back from suspension and might benefit from a rest. Just a thought, dont shoot!!

Understand where you are coming from, But i believe Bromley would love Josh to play instead of Manni, There are a side who love to scrap.

Fair enough. I was just thinking that Manni's loss of form could be down to fatigue and carrying niggles and a rest would do him good but I appreciate what you say regarding the type of side Bromley are.

The one their keeper saved looked destined for the top corner but other than that he only had one that was curled marginally round the post. His header hit the proper outer edge of the angle and was a very hopeful effort.

He saved the last close range one from Mani D with his face! You could call it lucky, but it's a keeper's job to spread himself in those situations and get something in front of the ball.

Dixon looked suspect in that regard earlier in the season, but he's been loads better since he got back into the side. Long may it continue.

A rest would probably do him good as you say, But if i was a defender i know who i would like to play against.
Josh is too Static.
Doubt Askey would dare to leave him out.

And if Mani had scored from the peach of a ball from Patterson, People would not be knocking Patterson today.
Fergi for me is poor and has been all season.

I suspect Patterson had not fully recovered from the knock he got at York. In his interview on You Tube Wallace said he felt a bit leggy and not as sharp as he was on Saturday. I suspect that goes for a few Pools players.

he has always followed a good game by a poor one whenever he played two games on the trot for us.
