Minuscule crowds in general, Jordan Henderson playing in front of a few hundred spectators, serves him right the greedy so and so, bit long winded video though.

I heard somewhere the club he signed for have average crowds of about 800…. They make George’s plans for his Arena look sane.

Just goes to show how much money 1% of the World's population have when they can literally burn hundreds of millions on sports. Watched the Tyson fight and what hit me was the playing of the Saudi national anthem before both fighters anthems. Never noticed a country holding a boxing match ever play there own national anthem without a home boxer taking part but I may be wrong sctatchinghead These people are literally pushing there country down our throats whilst crazy laws crush their people. These people are buying themselves a good name using sport and millions will get hudwinked by this circus. banghead

Because only recently they have started to take notice of football - they prefer Cricket and Camel racing

their football is still pretty premature and so widely spread that only really the big cities are seeing decent crowds if you can call them that.

they need another 20 years before they even start to see the buzz that even L2 musters over there

at least unlike Qatar with no stadiums at the time of their announcement and also not a single big name plying their trade over there - they have a football structure and a plethora of world wide super star footballers playing there too. If it doesnt all go pop like it did in China then i cant see why it wont be one of the best World cups we will see ! They no doubt will throw a Trillion bob and create a new city or 2 with a hand full of new mega stadiums - they already have a new airline which is supposed to be flying out of Newcastle rumours im hearing too. (Saudia Airlines).

but this is all good and well looking 10 years down the line - the world may have blown it self up by then

Who wouldn't volunteer there services and sacrifice ambition to play in front of 800 fans and be paid 700k (tax free) a week?
Be like playing at Boring Wood every week Infront of Dads n Lads, and getting a warm round of applause, even when you've been shite!

Admittedly I'm shite at Football but would happily do it for a week on that money. It would be like when Souness signed Ali Dea for Southampton - as he told everybody he was George Weah's cousin!
