This is what splashing the cash gets you, god help us if money stops going into the team. Spennymoor would turn their nose up at that backbone.

Probably would have loved anything other than that tonight v scunny

On reflection that’s not a spine, it’s unsecured scaffolding….show me the characters among them, no one stands out, they’re just support players no fighters amongst them.

The one month loan deals are clearly just like for like swaps for those we’re managing to get out on short term deals. It’s unsurprising since the chairman is looking to sell the club. 2 key injuries, granted, but also - whatever combination we play defensively, we concede goals.

Its weak as piss isnt it? Scary to think we might have to go into a relegation battle with the majority of them.

Relegation battle, them, it would be the equivalent of the Italians in WW2….we’d fold.

5 YELLOWS as well tonite, there will be suspensions coming up.

mind you 4 of them looked a little harsh to me. that must give hope to those who never watched the game as it gave the impression the side was putting a shift in. the fact is apart from the latter 20 odd minutes we were flattered by the 2-1 scoreline.

Every game in national league was on me firestik last nite even darlo v Blyth apart from Halifax v Pools.
Maybe i got lucky.
But throughly enjoyed the State of Play Flash interview on YouTube.
His skill and mental strength to inspire his teammates was phenomenal.
Well worth a watch.

He's nowhere near as good a shot stopper as Killip---we have down graded big style in the goalkeeper department this year

Killip started a league 1 game last night and kept a clean sheet in a 3-0 win. He was never the problem.

He wasn’t the answer either.

Looks like we had a few chances albeit it was only 6/7 minutes of highlights but mostly Pools attacking, the woman commentator is some thing else.

God, she was a nightmare ! Sounded more pessimistic than I do. Her most positive contribution was " oh noh" every time Pools got the ball. Must've been a BBC commentary - equality and all that.
