Estimates of a 100000 to 150000 protesting in London yesterday, I am not going to take sides as I don’t know the history of the troubles. What I will say is if the protesters are so bothered why don’t they go back and fight the cause there not on the streets of the U.K. I wonder how many asylum seekers were among them and ones who had already been granted asylum ?

The troubles been going on many years but basically the United nations give the Jews the Arabs land in 1948. The British where actually trying to manage the country but lost control. I can actually see the Arabs point of view but murdering innocent citizens on both sides solves nothing

Everyone in the Middle East thinks they’re right, both sides.

The British have too often "poked" their noses into International affairs. 1947 caused the split between India & Pakistan and a year later the problems started with Israel & Palestine.
Wouldn't want to take sides in present conflict but there most likely is grievances between both of them. What I feel saddened is the Government "taking sides" with Israel and saying the protest by Palestine (Hamas) is illegal.

India wanted independence so the thing to do was to give India independence….Britain did not engineer the split it was dimly assumed it would be one country. The Muslim’s wanted their own country( Pakistan)…. so the split was between the two religious groups as each set of religions moved back to their appropriate areas. Any trouble was self inflicted.
Are Palestine and Hamas the same thing because lots of people are differentiating between the two. I suspect Hamas advocating getting rid of all Jews could be problematic.

Got to feel sorry for the innocents on both sides, all Palestinians are not Hamas but to treat them as such by stopping fuel, water, medicine, food, etc and bombing the f*ck out of them is inhumane and the world should be condemning that behaviour as much as the terrorism, imho.

the problem started much earlier than that. after ww1 when the arabs were promised the earth for helping the allies defeat turkey leading tp the break up of the ottoman empire. got very little and the creation of israel just put the boot in. politicians post ww1 have actually much more to answer for than even the present days ones with problems caused by the to the arabs, creation of northern ireland and the treaty of versailles. all three ended up causing death in the future.
