It's not a case of sweeping anything under the carpet. The reason the topic was taken down was to protect the bunker, it's as simple as that. I made the decision. I came down on the side of caution. It was my decision to make and so I made it. Maybe nothing would have come of it but I wasn't prepared to take that chance.
You mentioned victimization elsewhere and listed what you thought were potential victims. The three people you named as potential victims have not had any topics removed to my knowledge so where are the grounds for those remarks. There isn't a list of victims. In fact the only potential victim was the Bunker. Nor is there a next victim. The next Topic to appear which could potentially cause trouble will be scrutinized just the same, no matter who the author is. We have to do that for the sake of all the members, including you. You accuse Snowy of having zero respect for opposite opinions. That is not true or fair but you continually come out with such accusations which, quite frankly are nonsense. Snowy and I have never met and I have no idea what he even looks like. He's been on here ever since the forum started I believe and calls it how he sees it but uses restraint when it comes to the words he uses, which is all we are asking you to do. As for the bunker being a cesspit, that also is nonsense.
The only topic I have ever taken down, apart from the obvious double entries which we do for the sake of tidiness, is your Aldershot one. I have been doing the job for years and have only had to do this once. Editing is only carried out in cases of abuse or to repel boarders. That is a credit to all our members, including you up till now. You know what you are doing and I suggest you have a serious rethink. If you consider the bunker to be such a cesspit why do you use it unless of course it is to cause as much harm as you can. A notion that has been aired more than once.
