But I was more impressed with Jack Grealish who ran halfway round the ground to give a young girl his shirt in response to a sign asking for said shirt. In a football world full of arrogance he’s a class act.

Grealish always seems to take the time to give a bit back - it's a good character trait.

We've qualified top of the group with two games to go (and before tonight we hadn't beaten Italy at home since 1977). It's the opposite of Steve McClaren looking depressed standing under his umbrella in the rain or Graham Taylor shouting "can we not knock it".

I know that Southgate isn't everyone's favourite - but if you look at all England's managers records since the 60's he's doing more that alright.

Just needs to win one now.

Good result and performance in general but it still annoys the hell out of me when England have a promising break at pace and then pass it back to Pickford as they did on a couple of occasions last night. We won, very pleased. Thought the defender who was brought on for Stones was excellent.
