Wonder what he'll get. He was driving a stolen Porsche 911 turbo in Oxfordshire on an A road. Eat your heart out Lee Hughes.

Must have been the A34. Nice road when it's empty. I think I've approached that speed in the small hours but unfortunately not in such a chariot. :grin:

The A34... at that speed, the only decent part's near Newbury, the rest is a fookin roller coaster :laugh:

I drove up from Pompey a coople of years ago during the night and crossed over onto the A43 and went for some petrol and asked the bloke in the garage why there were road closed signs on the brand new dual carriageway...."Oh just move the cones and drive down it, it's OK" so as I'm bombing along, looking at the family asleep around me, I suddenly thinK WHOA.... I'm on an unlit stretch of road and just supposing a bit's missing :shock:

.....a sedate 25 mph followed. :laugh:
