Yeah, the proverbial talking head who trips over his ego everyday and kisses his mirror every night.

A favourite Curley cliche in post match interviews with him early doors was the pools players need to understand there are those that will be "going on a journey" with him, and those that won't, and the players need to realise that he's the one that decides on this and not them.

Is that right big man?

Had a load of throw away lines he trotted out regularly, but later slipped into some pretty creepy seedy stuff referencing him looking forward to "getting sexy" with his wife after a rare pools win alongside a win by his beloved Man city the same day.Said he was on a "hat trick" that night with the missus.

Took Oldham down, then us, but Captiain Cliche will no doubt talk himself into a nice little earner somewhere else before too long, along with his trusty side kick Dozy Mackem Col.

Absolute pair of jokers. :x

Northampton the town, a place I really like. Nowt to do with football, I just like the place.

I was a student there and would argue that the football is about its only redeeming factor. Oh, and Bauhaus in the early 80's

More than welcome. Northampton have always been one of the better southern supported clubs that come to Pools. Got a good little team together, I think you will do well next season.

for me they are a sleeping giant type of club. if you live in the area there is no other one close like carlisle and peterborough. If they managed to get into the championship and made a good fist of that they,d be selling out every home game. its just some people flatly refuse to watch football below a certain level as all relegated teams will find next season. know if i had pots of money to burn and pools did not want it i,d go to the posh or the cobblers with it.
