Quietly, surrounded by his loving fans, Harty slipped peacefully away after a feeble battle against relegation to the League from Hell.
Mourners are invited to meet at St Victoria’s of the Holy Balls Up on the day of the final home match of the season for a service of remembrance conducted by Bishop Hartley.
