Apparently we had a bid accepted from Mansfield for Danny Johnson & we offered him 50% more than what he's on at the Stags.
Unfortunately he doesn't want to come with us being 3rd bottom.
So it looks like Raj is at last loosening the purse strings.

It sounds like the characteristics of someone who doesn’t want to have to work too hard, doesn’t want anything too taxing, not up for the challenge, wants to fit in to an already cohesive unit. For me not the traits of one willing to fight for the cause, pick up the gauntlet, lead the charge etc. etc. Does Curle really need that in his current dressing room?

i,d prefer someone not as productive in front of gaol who does not have these characteristics. You,d think on paper mansfield are foolish to let him go with his record so they will know for certain what we may only think.

With regard to Johnson just ask Dundee fans (also players and management) about his arrogance and bad attitude in his six months with them. The number of clubs he’s had and the short time he’s spent at each of them, despite a decent goals record, probably speaks volumes.

Players in by the end of the week now, but the tone is changing on the standard of these players, Surprise surprise.

On news now transfer rumours Tom Hopper lincoln captain and forward only 2 league goals and 3 inpapa john trophy also poor injury record . Both Pools and Colchester interested could be one of the league one strikers?

Sounds like deal agreed with Colchester for the weekend, apparently he is very slow and hasn't got over his injuries, just the sort of player we like at Pools.
