I don’t think its restricted to a particular group or area of the ground but the Police have warned that swearing may result in a three year ban. Seems a bit draconian. You’re ok to stab and murder and the police will show you a dance but saying bugger gets you a ban.

Incidentally, all those flags being dumped by the club is a disgrace.

Wow thats disgraceful it really is. The buck stops firmly at Rajs feet. Why are the club treating fans like this? The very people who spend a fortune following this badly run club. Something smells rotten here something is seriously wrong with the way the club is being run I'm totally gobsmacked.

This makes no sense at all. Are the club detached from the reality of what these flags mean and represent. They might be just flags and banners to them, but they’re icons to the fans and a failure to understand this is symptomatic of a total lack of what supporting a club is all about.

After last seasons 2500 pay on the day fans.
Its heading back to the STHolders give or take 200.
Cost of Living n the return of Covid will be the clubs reason not the lack of ambition or respect for the fans.

say they were not at the ground but watching nonce videos or chatting to a grooming gang giving them info and they,d be fine. soft targets yet again to show how tough they are on crime. stay away from football and leave your car in the garage you,ll never see the buggers.

I will reiterate that you do not get a 3 year stadium ban for simply swearing or sticking your fingers up at somebody

so what is the full story about the incident where bradford city fans are charged as well and it does not matter that much who really started it. were any carlisle fans ever arrested for criminal damage regarding those broken seats.

Police going on like it was like the Russian hooligans v England hooligans.

Don’t mention bloody dolphins to me, down at the Heugh lighthouse with ratboy and the wife comes along and finally spots one leaping out of the water, so I’m forced to look interested and watch them but after leaping out of the water three times it gets a bit tedious, actually bloody boring. However, her and a dozen other viewers were getting dead excited, meanwhile me and ratboy just sat rolling our eyes.

The stories of police targeting young men swearing or slipping the odd Budweiser into the stand reminds me of the Artic Monkeys song Riot Van:

If they've only been swearing as is being suggested, it does seem like an over reaction. However, I can't see how it's the club's fault, the club has (or should have) very little influence on who the police decide to arrest etc. Obviously, the may be obliged to hand over evidence such as CCTV etc.

Has the photographer taken any action to repatriate that merchandise?

The club has no say in the matter. End of story.

always find this a bit of a grey area what the police can or cannot do on private land with public access like the vic on matchdays. you can be arrested for some minor offence no worse than taking an off road vehicle to a farmers field with his permission and drive around like a lunatic if you wish. or actually drive a car uninsured and without a licence on some private road pissed and drugged up and they are powerless.

Difference is that’s private land, agree it should make no difference, but it does. The Vic is a public venue.

I've only seen one close up but apart from that they've never had a reason to pull me, Give them reason like speeding past a speed camera and you get all you ask for, FFS cars even warn you when you're nearing a speed camera on motorways, When you've seen the aftermath of speeding you'll realise why they crack down on it. And funnily enough 9/10 the more seriouly hurt /killed is the innocent one.

lots of trouble is caused after games where the plod insist fans go a certain way out of grounds and arguements occur. just imagine being in the mill house and you are parked round the back and you are told to walk passed the corner flag, down clarence road and through morrisons to get back to your car. i know that will never happen at the vic but something as stupid happened to my lad on some obscure stockport away game he went to. as for speeding there is speeding and speeding. anyone is willing to pull me up on this but i have never seen a speed camera of any discription outside a school when the kids are going in or out. they roll up after 9 and they will be gone before 3. both me and my niece have been done at rediculous times. me coming back from a night match about 11pm with the idiotic reply from them that i was passing a school and her on that motorway going to grimsby just before 7 on a sunday morning on an empty road with a nearly new 3 litre bmw.
