Radio is just as bad as tv as well.
Like an advert will inspire you to buy there products or donate to a poorly bear or donkey sanctuary.

and what post you get apart from bills seem to be after money. getting a bit sick of dogs trust now. we have been sponsoring a couple of dogs since god knows when and they are not satisfied as they regularly want us to do more. getting close to cancelling what we donate and give the money to some local animal charity who will be grateful for what they get.

Youtube adverts are fucking brutal now. So close to installing an add blocker which is a shame as I use a lot of good independent sites who need the revenue (unlike youtube)

Some of the ads You tube are crazy in as much as they’ll have a 30 second ad with a skip ads button after five seconds, yet the poncey ads are too busy being clever dicks they fail to show what they’re selling or who they are in that opening five second snatch.
I love how they show unlikely scenarios of say certain religious groups daughters down the local underground inner city skateboard park in traditional dress hanging out with the geeks after dark….. they have more sense than that, but flog us unreal embracing scenarios.

I've noticed the same thing with other charities and fundraisers. At least when you chuck some money into a collection bucket or give a bit of change to somebody who is down on their luck it's a private act.

Older people who watch afternoon tv will be fed up watching adverts about funeral plans, life insurance, remortgaging their house to raise money etc.
