Seems strange though, surely Ben Clark would just slot in there seeing as he's played full back before. I'd feel safer with Barron on the bench than Gibb. Saying that I'd feel safer with myself on the bench than Ali G.

in that case i cannot understand how we couldnt accomodate Ben Clark in a 3-5-2 formation not to worry its history now, another game tomorrow night i reckon joel and clark will be in the team tomorrow.

How predictable.

My grumble against Chip was more the fact he was predicting a lifetime of gloom and doom, threatening to boycott games, slagging off pretty much every decision by Wilson and a ball has hardly been kicked. It's pathetic considering we are about 2% through the season.

Anyone who can be that negative before they've even seen a ball kicked needs their head read if you ask me.

I merely said I'd prefer Barron, Clark or myself at right back than Ali Gibb (a view shared by the majority). It's a far cry from Chips monotomous whinges.

We were all over Luton like a rash at the start. If we'd been able to be a bit more incisive we could have had the game won then.
But credit to Luton they eventually stopped us overrunning them in midfield. They probably only had about four dangerous looking attacks all game but they knew how to finish. They were more direct while we arsed about in front of goal. A lot of people have complained about Humps's wild efforts but at least he didn't hesitate to shoot when he saw half a chance.

I don't really know how good Luton are in absolute terms, but I can see us wearing lesser teams out with the possession we'll have. If we can just add a bit of bite we'll do all right. I wasn't encouraged by the Moore-Barker pairing nor by Brown on that showing but I'm putting it down as an off day.
