Never watched much of the stuff Denis Waterman was in after The Sweeney and Minder finished, so for me he'll always be a young hothead chasing birds, downing pints and thumping criminals. The magic of television! RIP Denis.

one of the few actors who has always been good no matter what part he played. a proper celebrety in my eyes. at least all the repeats will keep him in our memories. who didn,t fancy being another george carter at the time when he played that part.
