Tonigh at The Studio we have Australias THE HARD ONS who describe themselves as Punk/Powerpop/Thrash.
Thrash is probably the most accurate of those 3 descriptions.
If you check out their Myspace you can hear classic tunes such as
'You Sir Can F*ck Off' or 'Go Get F*ckin F*cked'.
Support will be from LOUDMOUTH as we couldnt persuade TITS OF DEATH to travel up from London.
Price is £9/£8/£6

On October the 13th we have DIRTY FUZZ at The Studio who are a top quality band & my first venture int promoting, but more about them later.
DIRTY FUZZ on myspace

The Hard Ons have been around for donkeys years. They're like Dumpy's Rusty Nuts, you see 'em advertised everywhere.

Somehow, I never seemed to make the effort...... confised confised

Bloody Hell, 14 years at it, only nine gigs to go and people are interested!!!

We don't (or hardly ever) play in Hartlepool any more, and have never graced the stage of The Studio, preferring to "Take The Money" doing Weddings, Parties etc.

You wouldn't like us, we're "Easy Listening". rolfl

Don't judge, I like all different types of music!

I presume that the passion killers are a guitar orientated band...? Do they cover any songs by any of these - The Killers, Snow Patrol, Keane, Oasis, Coldplay, Verve, Wannadies, Lightening Seeds, Dire Straits, Police, U2, REM, Stone Roses, Jonh Denver, Corrs, Cranberries or Kaiser Chiefs....?

Yes, we do things by most of those bands, except Oasis and John Denver!

Yes we are all Guitars, have been for 6 months now.

Yes, we are all way too old, haggered and shagged out to be arsed anymore.

Rawk'n'Roll's a young man's game, it won't be that long before theres a "Sons and Daughters" version of the band about. My little'uns a canny Drummer, our Guitarists son is a brilliant axeman (better than his Dad already, at 13!) and King Crimson's Daughter is a great little Singer. Watch out for them in a few years time!

Mr Costello, I can't believe that you don't do any Oasis, they are quality. I think I'd probably like the Passion Killers if they do Dire Straits, Lightening Seeds etc;

you'll have to get yourself along to one of the PK's pre retirement gigs Jonny. If you don't you will regret it for the rest of your life, that you never saw the Passion Killers live.
