People who spend lavishly on ego projects do tend to be a bit ‘touchy’, when the blatantly obvious flaws in their ‘vision’ are pointed out.

promoting and organising a dislike for how a decent club is being run to a basket case. should have got a free season ticket for three years and not a banning. when pools played there it was noisy but hardly a riot on the street that was organised. funny how these people who have been somewhere for 5 minutes and will walk when it suits them know more than lifetime fans who may be able to trace family members who were fans for over 100 years.

someone should write a book which would consist of more than one volume about the rape of football clubs by owners. could start with doncaster rovers with one owner attempting to burn down the main stand. he could not even get that right. was great being a fan in the 50,s where not every fan knew or were interested in who ran the club or owned it.

So very true. Up to the advent of social media most people didn’t give it a thought unless the abuse was so bleeding obvious that it made it into the press. Maybe the financial ‘opportunitites’ were not really big enough to bother becoming rich by screwing a club over.

didn,t take long for oldham to do a U turn on the ban. imagine that public opinion across the country was on the side of the three fans and they did not want anymore adverse publicity that may have caused gates to fall even more.
