Anyone been to this in Newcastle before? I think that we are taking the kids that the mrs looks after there tomorrow and I was wondering what it was like confised

Pretty good.Quite expensive mind and the dinosaurs scared my two year old. Discovery museum not too far away and worth a visit, especially as its free.

My kids love the Discovery Museum, unfortunately never been myself. Centre for life is pretty good too

good go to kirkleatham old hall near redcar coz it's free, has a daft play area and has some owl thing next door - which aint free

That farm in Blackhall is another great day out for the whole family, it's more like a small zoo.

It's not expensive to get in and the food was very good value.

The kids are 7, 8 and 10 so they should be ok. I don't really mind how much it costs as it all comes of the wifes tax return. Where abouts is the Discovery museum, may as well have a look in there as well seeing as we will be up that way

Just got back and it was well worth the visit, didn't get time to go to the Discovery museum though, I think that we will have to go there another time
