Got a £5 reduction without any hassle from virgin media on phone tv and broadband deal. Also noticed big savings on gas/electric mainly British Gas but others may follow suit.
Anyone seen anything worth persuing as now is the time prices should be tumbling sadly.

Update on this is that many of the internet (only) providers are offering deals for as little as £20-£25 a month.
My recently entered deal is £42 for 100mb but comes with phone and Virgin TV so i still think i am overpaying.
But on the plus side my fibre based package is very robust and i rarely have a problem.
Speedchecker calculates i get about 66mb actual.
I have a Virgin email account (NTLworld) and i get virtually no spam etc. (Dont know why as everyone else i knows gets tons of it)

Great idea, one of the newish ones they recently bought would be best as they don't smell too much of stale piss.

you,ll have to be careful of any medication found tucked down at the back of the seats. plenty of bingo pens though to go the team changes with.

Remember that time we went to Bradford in the back of van? me n you and 8 Sunderland supporters from Peterlee and Blackhall. As soon as you got in the ground you got hit by a brick  Stopped in Leeds before and Knaresborough on the way back.

Very much for old people , but those National Holidays were as cheap as chips, and I know a lot of our supporters used them when we played at Torquay and Dover , combining a mini break with the game. 2 night hotel breaks in Liverpool etc for £69 etc excellent value. A lot of hotels will feel the knock on effect as well, as these breaks kept the hotels ticking over during slack periods.

Yes I have used then several times to get to an area you want to explore and then just do my own thing. Seriously the coaches were very comfortable.

Yeah that was some day that. Luckily my NCB donkey jacket softened the blow somewhat. I was lucky at Bramhall Lane also in a 1-1 draw we got there, half brick missed my head outside the ground by literally inches.

An animal skin jacket was a must have in the late 70s early 80s. All the other clubs supporters wore Sheepskins , us in the NE wore Donkey Jackets

You might see one on E-Bay but imagine originals would be rocking horse shit now. My dad used to get mine from the pit , as did most miners sons , and we would cut the orange NCB bit off , but bits of orange were always visible around the edges. We must've looked like aliens walking around London.

These look quite smart , would have to get a matching haversack as well though

Yes probably looks a bit to smart to be honest. Being from Artlepool i would probably want a Laings donkey jacket with me havy having a "Led Zepplin" painted with full lead gloss on the flap.

Very cosmopolitan is Liverpool these days , at least the city centre is . Like every city in the UK last time I was there I noticed huge student accommodation being built , in former working class communities just outside the centre , they tell me a degree is very handy when applying for a job in LIDL or running your café or nail bar on Facebook. The houses of the poor being demolished , their occupants then slowly killed off by a cocktail of poverty , unemployment , homelessness , alcohol , drug abuse , stabbing each other to death or Covid -19

National Holidays used to use the Adelphi hotel , now that has seen better days.
