The sudden death stuff doesn't start till 26th June. My £20 on Italy at 8-1 will be safe till then - and so will England.

these things are supposed to bring people and fans together and not split them. there has been as much general interest in what players are going to do pre kick off than the game itself.

I don't agree with Raheem Sterling getting an MBE - weren't they once supposed to be in recognition of a lifetime's service in one form or another? Then again I don't agree with big party donors getting knighthoods either. The impact of gesture politics is massively overrated, whichever way it leans.

do not agree with any of the above but thats a different issue. i,d be quite happy to see the end of all these honours along with the unelected house of lords and the monarchy.
