Where was our captain today when we needed him? Hopefully completing a transfer away from Victoria Park to somewhere like Morpeth or Billingham or some similar club more in line with his talent.

Strange injury rarely associated with a footballer. I had that last year, bloody painful , annoying and difficult to shift. Okay now , but put it down to not going out cos of lockdown , and wearing more comfortable shoes, was wearing Doc Martens to go to the pub and my son swears that they are really bad for your feet.

Anyway, I expect Donaldson to be out for at least 6 weeks with this injury. Strange how our players unexpectedly disappear from the team for a couple of weeks, then news of an injury surfaces. I always thought it used to be the other way around.
