Mags game and Luke Armstrong would've had a field day with the chances Carroll has missed.

Its genuinely crazy to think how highly rated the likes of Carroll, Theo Walcott, Micah Richards and Jack Wilshire were in around 2010. All of whom had woeful injury luck.

Carroll was never worth what Liverpool paid like, total panic buy that would of done no help to the lads moral.

Yeah bless him, I'm sure his moral was shot to bits while earning about 50k per week!

Clearly a overrated player in his early days and a league 2 play at best now.

Carroll was Newcastles best defender, he won more headers in his own box than his own central defenders, should switch to being a centre half.

Championship player these days. I don't know if its just me, but never seen so many players at highest level miss absolute sitters like they do these days
