Great band Mr I, must be only for us 40yrs+ gadgies.

As for UB40 yes & yes well worth it, as for the Brum covers band bit they have made their name by doing covers of other artists in a reggae style.

Yes and they saved a concert that was dying on it's feet after the Pogues.

I'm not a major fan of the Icicle Works; much preferred the Bunnymen.
However, I do have a major spot for Up Here In The North of England :sweeeet:

I've just come off Amazon, bought Easy Star All Stars two albums, Radiodread and Dub Side of the Moon. Reggae/dub versions of OK Computer and Dark Side of the Moon. Should be terrible but really arent.
Came back today from a wedding in Norfolk where they played Radiodread from huge speakers in a garden. Tremendous and I dont think the whole event was getting to me; they had beer on tap in barrels to help yourself and a whole pig turning round on a spit roast :sweeeet:
Arrived when I came back was new Gogol Bordello album which will get a play in the car tomorrow.

I have no time for Pink Floyd or Radiohead either. Buy the radiodread cd sounded very good. Went back on after that message and bought Super Ape by Lee Scratch Perry, Heart of the Congos by the Congos and The Dub Factor by Black Uhuru. Any suggestions of reggae or dub classics would be welcome mister.
