Yeah I know, tub-thumping, but SSAFA, the Soldiers, Sailors and Air Force Families Association are trying to build a rehab centre for injured servicemen in Ashstead in Surrey. A bunch of toffee nosed locals are trying to block the plan, saying their property prices would suffer due to noise, increased traffic and 'those people' being in their area in a regular basis. Oh the poor feckers. Obviously property prices are more important than people who've lost limbs, sight, faculties fighting in the front line.

Get to it boys:

And girls

Surrey is a county full of very exclusive people with seriously flawed mentalities, with few exceptions like Surbiton and Kingston where normal people live. When we had the misfortune to live there it took me ages to work out their basis for choosing friends or even for deciding whether they could be bothered to say 'hello'. Basically, if you're of some use you're 'in', otherwise you might as well be invisible.

Why on earth someone should choose that sort of area for a rehabilitation centre for servicemen beats me. If I were a serviceman I'd be campaigning to be placed somewhere else!!

A lot of the military are in Surrey, or were, around Camberley, Pirbright, Deepcut and just over the Hants border in Aldershot etc.

Let them block the plan. They will be doing the injured servicemen a favour. Then put up a pork emission plant in its place. That will no doubt please the residents too as it will keep the muslims out.

Yeah, job done. One of the pathetic specimens was on the radio yesterday blustering about 'our concerns are that this charity could better spend it's money in a less expensive part of the country....'

it makes me puke that such people can look down their noses at lads and lasses who are putting their very lives on the line, so these pompous c-u-n-ts can enjoy the lifestyle that they do. If anybody deserves a dose of reality (i.e. something REALLY nasty to happen to them) it's those despicable country-mansion dwelling scumbags.
